- Cinnamon Roasted Nuts!

We're getting a few cool nights so why not pick one and prepare to treat you and yours to a wholesome goodie that's sure to please? Be sure to make these bad boys in bulk and then stash some in your purse, back pack or glove compartment! When your out and about and ready for a mini-meal, just pop a few in your mouth and enjoy the flavor! Bring in the nuts! Almonds and walnuts work best and they are loaded with complex carbohydrates.

Just place a bunch in some room temperature water, add a few shakes of sea salt and let the batch sit about eight hours. Next, drain them well and sprinkle with cinnamon. If you like (and I do!) drizzle on some honey as well - just a bit. Spread them out on a non-stick baking sheet and roast at 275 degrees for about 3.5 hours. Delicious and wholesome! A much better choice on a regular basie over Twinkies or a Snickers bar. Enjoy!
